Ana María Carbonell writes and teaches in the Bay Area. Her work has appeared in The MacGuffin, Artemis Journal, MER, Acentos Review, Wild Crone Wisdom, and elsewhere, and was a finalist in Tucson Festival of Books’ literary contest. She lives in Berkeley with her rescue pup and musician husband.
