The oldest daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, Annie Phan took root with the cottonwoods of Albuquerque, New Mexico. A graduate of Stanford in Creative Writing, Ethnic Studies, and Education, she teaches at a small public high school in San Francisco and dedicates her daily efforts to organizing for justice.
