Emily Schultz is the co-founder of Joyland Magazine. Her novel, The Blondes, was named a Best Book of 2015 by NPR and Kirkus. Her writing has appeared in Elle, Slate, Evergreen Review, Vice, Hazlitt, and Prairie Schooner. She grew up in Canada and now lives in Brooklyn.
