Karen Hildebrand is the author of Crossing Pleasure Avenue (Indolent Books, 2018). Her writing on dance appears in Fjord Review and The Brooklyn Rail. She holds an ᴍꜰᴀ from the Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Originally from Colorado, she lives in Brooklyn.
