M. Brett Gaffney, born in Houston, Texas, holds an MFA in poetry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is a poetry and art editor of Gingerbread House Literary Magazine and works as a librarian in Northern Kentucky. Her chapbook, Feeding the Dead, is forthcoming from Porkbelly Press.
