Matt Cariello will publish two collections of poetry in 2025: Colloquy on Mad Tom (Bordighera Press), and Self Portrait in the Dark (Finishing Line Press), in which “The Brown Sack” appears. These books follow three other collections: The Empty Field, Talk, and A Boat That Can Carry Two. He’s currently a senior lecturer in the English department at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
