Monika Cassel is Acting Chair of Creative Writing and Literature at New Mexico School for the Arts. Her chapbook, Grammar of Passage, won the Venture Poetry Award; her translations have appeared or are forthcoming in Asymptote, Guernica, and Michigan Quarterly Review, and her poetry has appeared in The Laurel Review.
