Writers and readers:
Rust+Moth is many things; it is was always will be a place where we—writers and readers alike—make poetry together. For all the authors, for all the readers, for all of you: I am truly grateful.
Above all, however, Rust+Moth is something I do for fun with my friends: Josiah, Suncerae, and Michael. It is was always will be a way to stay close to them, across distance and time. For that, above all else, I am truly most grateful.
In the Rust+Moth 10th Anniversary print edition, I offer a poem. It is a poem created from lines that struck me most as I re-read every poem published. It serves to support the idea that readers and writers are all doing the same work, and that there is no separation between our words, between us. Here, though, I’ll offer this list of specific authors and poems who have meant a great deal to me, and let them also serve as the contributor’s list index for the impending print issue special edition poem.
