Raised in Mexico City, retired after a forty year career as a studio potter, Johanna DeMay now writes and volunteers with the immigrant community as an ESL tutor. Her poems appear in a variety of journals. A collection of her poems, “Waypoints,” was released by Finishing Line Press in 2022.
